About Us

The Film Director's Guild of Nepal was established in 2001A.D. with a view to developing and promoting the social, economic and cultural activities through a medium of cinema in a qualitative manner. Its main objective is to direct the path of Nepalese film cinema in an useful and dynamic way by promoting the Nepalese art and culture for uplifting the glorious prestige of the nation. The Guide is primarily concerned with the protection and preservation of the profession and particularly the rights of Nepalese Film Directors.
